Ich liebe die Scheibe seit ewig.
'Spirits' alleine löst alle Konflikte zwischen AOR, 70er-keyboardlastigem Hard Rock und aufstrebendem 90er Prog.

Asked how it was different playing with Tornillo after performing with Dirkschneider during the band's early years, Herman told All That Shreds: "Mark is a really nice guy and really promising. It's kind of a different voice and Mark really doubles Udo in his personal way. I prefer the style of Udo's singing. He is original ACCEPT. There is this voice sticking in your head. On the new songs, which Mark sings for the first time in ACCEPT, it's a different character, but it's very good. You can't compare them, really. They are a match for certain things, but they are quite different people. I do like them both. I couldn't have the decision which one I would prefer. It would have been great if they would put a couple of albums with Udo and Mark together. That would be awesome."

This past January, TALISMAN released a new song called "Save Our Love" as a way of raising awareness of the mental health crisis. In announcing the track, TALISMAN issued a statement in which the group said: "On January 30, 2024, Marcel Jacob would have turned 60.

"We want to shed light on the problem of mental health issues. Too many people are leaving their loved ones and friends far too early.

"Marcel Jacob founded the band TALISMAN in 1989 after playing with John Norum, Yngwie Malmsteen and early EUROPE. TALISMAN had a major hit with the song 'I'll Be Waiting' and released several studio and live albums. Unfortunately, Marcel took his own life on July 21, 2009.

"The remaining members of TALISMAN, Jeff Scott Soto (vocals),and Pontus Norgren (guitars),have written the song 'Save Our Love' as a tribute and in memory of Marcel Jacob and the music they created together. TALISMAN's drummer, Jaime Borger, also plays on the song, and it features guest appearances by Mic Michaeli from EUROPE on keyboards, Johan Niemann (EVERGREY) on bass and BJ (SOTO) on backing vocals.

"If you can, make a donation to the the non-profit organization Suicide Zero."

Gesanglich geht es technisch in Richtung Ray Alder, was man beim Anblick des Covers nicht erwartet :-)

Mir sind heute neu abgemischte Versionen der Songs der aufstrebenden Psychedelic-Rocker zugespielt worden.
Da der Gesang als überflüssig erachtet wurde, entstehen Bilder vor dem geistigen Auge, die nicht lyrisch beeinflusst werden.

'Melos' klingt für mich wie der perfekte Soundtrack einer Mafiakomödie. Und auch alle anderen Songs bringen Elemente mit, die man in Filmen oder Serien mit positiver Konnotation unterbringen kann.

Einen roten Faden gibt es nicht. Das macht es kurzweilig und animiert zum nochmaligen Hören, wobei die Einsatzmöglichkeiten begrenzt sind.
Zu Cabrio und sieben Fässer Wein eher nicht.
Aber der gedankenverlorene Blick auf den Steuerbescheid, verbunden mit der lasziven Imprägnierung der inneren Dämonen bekommt einen neuen Soundtrack. Zu 'Hanuman' habe ich sogar die Postleitzahl meiner Oma getanzt.

– Die Metalbörse wird wieder in den hinteren Bereich der Halle verlegt, was Käufern und Händlern wieder die Möglichkeit gibt, alle Bands zu verfolgen.

– Der Ticketpreis wird um 20 Euro auf 109 Euro zzgl. VVK-Gebühren verringert.

– Der Ticketverkauf beginnt exklusiv vor Ort am Keep It True 2024 im April für 109 Euro ohne VVK-Gebühr, danach online mit Gebühr.

– Kurz vor dem April KIT werden die ersten Bands für 2025 bekannt gegeben.
