Symphonic-Melodic-Prog aus Italien mit Keyboards?
Um die Jahrtausendwende kamen drölfzig Bands mit tollen Namen und epischen Covern auf den Markt. Zumeist überzuckert, deshalb bin ich immer vorsichtig.
FLASHBACK OF ANGER lösen es angenehm musikalisch gut. Dem Genre angemessen guter Gesang mit feinen Gitarren und sinnvoll eingesetzen Tasten. Und gute Songs haben sie auch.

But we are entertaining people. And give the people what they want.' And that's also why we said, 'Okay, then we do DIRKSCHNEIDER again [playing only ACCEPT songs]."

Alles drin vom bluesigen Auftakt hin zu typischen 80er Pop-Anleihen - sogar mit guten Ideen, aber IMHO nicht zu Ende gedacht.

Oberauthentischer, wilder , ungehobelter 80er Amerika-Metal. Nun mal aus Paraguay. Prog, Power, gute Songs - alles drin, vor allem inklusive einer überragenden Gesangsleistung.
Die völlig unperfekte, hallige Produktion macht das Vergnügen perfekt.
Die Definition eines Rohdiamanten. Irgendwo zwischen EXXPLORER, CRIMSON GLORY und QUEENSRYCHE zwischen 1985 und 1987.

"The best thing about starting with Marcel and meeting him during the Yngwie era was that he was not close-minded; however, musically, he wasn't really into R&B, soul, or anything outside the rock genre. My influences, combined with what we listened to while writing and touring, opened his musical encyclopedia in terms of what he wanted to do. You could hear that in future songs. By the time we got to the 'Humanimal' album, we had already done 'Colour My XTC', which was funky, and that wasn't the TALISMAN sound we had when we started. You could hear the evolution from that point."
It doesn't have to have a chorus. It doesn't have to have a bridge. It doesn't have to have a verse. It doesn't have to have anything except what we believe in our hearts should be in a musical statement.
